Online portfolio, e-business, e-representative

Shortly after we redesigned their Dutch website (see Portfolio: Lensvelt Houten Vloeren), Sandra and Rudolf Lensvelt emigrated to Sweden. As soon as they were settled into their new surroundings, Sandra asked us to create a new website with the same look-and-feel as their Dutch site, only this time it had to be in Swedish.

Our first priority was to find a hosting company that spoke both Swedish and English, and then after Sandra had registered their website, we installed the content management system and database and replicated the design. Värmlands Parkett Slipnings Service is live.

The look of the website was kept the same, but the header needed to be altered to reflect the Swedish business name and slogan. Sandra sent us the translated pages by email, and we recreated the site for them. It was great fun seeing familiar words in a completely foreign language and how they all tie up together!

We wish Sandra and Rudolf a lot of success with their business and happiness in their new home.
