Original Website Content

“Content is King!” is the motto for the Internet

It’s all about information. If your website provides unique, original content on your specific topic, then it’s very likely that you’ll be considered as a reliable source of information in your field. You might be asking, “Why do I need original or unique content, when so many other websites have the same information?” Well, that’s just it.

To stand out from gazillions of other related websites, you should offer people original information that’s helpful and interesting to read. Your sentences should be easy to understand - unless it’s your niche target, don’t insist that people have a Masters degree to read your website. Make it quick and easy for them to get your message.

And just like when you’re holding a conversation, you don’t want to stupify readers into a coma, or worse still, leave no impression at all. It’s far easier to click away from a website than it is to excuse yourself from a droning dinner guest!

Good website content engages your reader directly and talks about their needs and how their problems can be solved. Sure, listing technical data and product features is needed to compare one product to another, but if you’d like your reader to identify with your product or service, then you must tell them how it will benefit them.

If you have a flair with words, then you know how to explain your product or service in the best possible way. But if you’re not as confident with your pen (or keyboard) then you should consider hiring a professional copywriter.

It’s very important that your message is told in a clear way that is simple to understand. A professional writer can explain the benefits of your product or service in a way that makes people want to buy them.

"The once-off fee was very reasonable and that makes me happy! But what's awesome is that I can add content myself whenever I get an idea .. normally in those early red-eye moments. I just go online, add a draft and then go back later to fine-tune it. Thank you."
